Is it okay to laugh at someone’s insecurities and misfortunes? Dana Eagles’s audiences think it is – and that’s okay with her. Being a misfit has had its’ payoffs - the self-deprecating, off-beat and often inspiring humor of Ms. Eagle makes her a hit with college, nightclub, television and concert audiences. When the petite brunette in dark-rimmed glasses appeared with DL Hughley before an audience of 3000 she summarized it all: “Studies now show that eighty percent of us suffer from depression - and the other twenty percent of you cause it.”

Growing up Jewish, Dana was told that she was one of the chosen people, then she got to gym class and found out not-so-much - not for kickball. And thus ensued a lifelong pursuit to find acceptance. When she found standup comedy, that acceptance came quickly and has led to appearances on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, national commercials, and a host position on the Oxygen Network.

From Showtime comic interstitials she wrote and performed to HBO’s Prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen , Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival, a recent pilot for E! Entertainment Network, a series of memorable commercials with Jay Mohr and Boomer Esiahson, Comedy Clubs around the country and “Best New Comedian” at the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter Competition, Dana is hot. Through all this success, she is no longer a misfit and has found to a place where she can feel beautiful – and that place is called Radio Shack.

Whether it’s acting, hosting, standup or writing, Dana Eagle always has a funny word… or two… or more.
